Cylindrical vibration motor is ERM (eccentric rotating mass) type, usually called pager motor as used in pagers in early, then applied to the phones to get haptic feedback.

Know More About Cylindrical Vibration Motors
A cylindrical vibration motor is a type of electric motor that uses vibrational energy to create linear or rotational motion. The motor consists of a cylindrical stator and a moving mass, typically a small weight or rotor, that is attached to the stator via a set of springs. When the stator is energized, the moving mass begins to vibrate and this vibration is transferred to the attached object, causing it to move.
There are two main types of cylindrical vibration motors: linear and rotational. Linear motors create vibrational energy that is transferred to the attached object in a linear (back-and-forth) motion. Rotational motors, on the other hand, create vibrational energy that is transferred to the attached object in a circular or rotational motion.
