Small ERM Vibration Motors

Small erm vibration motors are available in a wide range of sizes and shapes, from round to square, to suit a variety of applications. With their compact size and low weight, the small erm vibration motors are a great choice for your applications where space is limited. Miniature ERM Motors are used almost exclusively for vibration alerting and haptic feedback. Therefore, most of machines or applications that use sound or light to offer user/operator feedback could be achieved by a vibration motor.

Powerful ERM Vibration Motors

The ERM (eccentric rotating mass) vibration motor is a type of linear vibration motor that uses a rotating mass to create vibration. The erm motor has an eccentric (offset) mass that is attached to the shaft. As the shaft rotates, the offset mass creates a centrifugal force that causes the shaft to vibrate. The size of the erm vibration motor will determine the amount of force it can generate, and the voltage will determine the speed at which the motor will rotate.

Linear Actuator Vibration Motors

The linear resonant actuators are available in two specific form factors: coin and bar (with a few square designs). The linear vibration motor is used in a variety of applications where linear motion is required, such as vibrating massage chairs and cell phones. LRAs are also used in some automotive applications, such as active suspension systems.

Micro Coin Vibration Motors

Coin vibration motors, also known as shaftless or pancake vibrator motors, that are all Eccentric Rotating Mass (ERM) motors, generally in Ø6mm – Ø12mm diameters range. Due to their small size and enclosed vibration mechanism, coin vibrating motors are great for haptics, particularly in handheld instruments where space can be at a premium.

Cylindrical Vibration Motors

Cylindrical vibration motors are used in a wide variety of applications, including cell phones, pagers, vibrating pens, and medical devices. And also used in some industrial applications, such as vibrating sieves and conveyors.

Encapsulated Vibration Motors

Encapsulated vibration motor is typically used in medical devices or in industrial equipment. The encapsulated design helps to reduce noise and to protect the internal components from dust and other debris.

Mini SMT / SMD Vibration Motors

SMT vibration motors are typically small and compact, which makes them ideal for use in portable electronic devices.

Micro BLDC Vibration Motors

For the ERM motors, two types currently based on two form factors: brushless coin motors and larger brushless cylinder motors. The brushless coin motor is excellent for long life or industrial handheld vibration alerting functions. The 12mm brushless BLDC cylinder motor is intended for long-life massaging equipment and some larger instruments that require reliable and long-life vibration alert functionality.

Micro Sonic Vibration Motors

The toothbrush sonic vibration motor is a compact and powerful component found in electric toothbrushes. It generates high-frequency vibrations ranging from 15,000 to 40,000 strokes per minute, which help to dislodge plaque, tartar, and food particles from the teeth and gums. These vibrations create dynamic fluid forces that thoroughly clean areas beyond the bristles’ physical contact, promoting better oral hygiene. The motor operates gently, making it suitable for individuals with sensitive teeth or gums, and its energy-efficient design ensures extended usage between charges.
